The photo was taken somewhere on the ancient Silk Road, just off the southern part of the Gobi Desert, in September 1997. I remember that getting up on to & down from the animal was a not a problem - the guide would order it to squat down on all fours. The most important thing I could remember was not to stand directly in front of it. The rapscallion just loved to spit. No kidding! as it's jettisoned load just missed me. Anyway, I loved the furry animal. It was really magnificent & cute. The camel ride was a memorble experience of a lifetime.

For those on the list who have not been enjoying corresponding with you the past couple years could you share how the word "slam" translates into English from your language?
Unfortunately the word "slam" in English does not mean the same thing.
Yes it is nice to travel and see the world but not all people enjoy doing it. My two older brothers have never enjoyed traveling. They prefer to stay home. Me I prefer to travel. It is a personal choice.
At the same time I believe people learn much more when the at least travel some once in awhile.
Yes I will travel to Palestine some day, especially since corresponding with you and learning what small amount you have shared so far.
Alan

When the villas I built would it be possible to see photos of them?
For me...
I just finished creating a series of photo albums on my website of my recent trip to England. I started with 2800 images and edited, sorted, arranged and rearranged them and then created a grid for displaying them.
to see it go to
http://www.cre8ng.com
click on photo icon that reads Virtually traveling w/ Alan and scan down to the England photo grid.
Now I am working on a logo, a couple articles, a couple new books.
I seem to be working in a fashion as if I am doing several jigsaw puzzles at one time, moving from one to another to another until the creative spark happens then I complete that project.
