I hate to get too serious this early in this dialogue and get too close to what I do in TRIZ, but I have once again seen an example of wheel reinventing in innovation. Many of you know that heart stents, while saving lives temporarily, have a long t…
After a week preparing and working with the government on a program for the Dept of Homeland Sefcurity (don't worry, it's part of my chemical engineering other half of my life), I welcome the opportunity to reflect on creativity for a while.

Every day of our lives we can connect through the internet. Through Creativity Champions we can do much more than simply send emails to our contacts.
Discussions, Forums, Announce Events, share info, ask questions, ask for help.
Mary Ellyn, this will be more than you want to know, but you asked! Many clients are contacting me and hiring me without ever having met me. I'm not bragging about that, but I am digesting it as it is a new business phenomenon. It's certainly different than the old model of spending your own money auditioning several time. Points out importance in this day and age of your web site and public presentations. Last major clients were GM and Honeywell. Have also become involved with YourEncore, a contracting firm with several thousands of experts (including me!). They sell and you work--what a concept. Also doing a lot of Intro ChE training for AICHE as well as Covidien/Mallincrokt and the Department of Homeland Security after some Center for Chemical Process Safety folks attended one of my public classes. Been busy! Also survived deviated septum surgery this week and am finally cured! Stitches coming out Friday and then getting on a boat for a 41st anniversary cruise starting Sunday before going back to Honeywell at the end of the month.
Haven't heard from you in a long time and stopped "bugging" you. What's the new stuff at KCC?
Hi Jack. I bet you were at ASQ in Houston this year. A lot of our folks wre out there. Haven't 'chewed' much on Systematic Inovation. Good to see your pic
There is an annual FLORIDA CREATIVITY WEEKEND program held in February or March in Sarasota, Florida. Also there are other people in the Tampa area who work in creativity in addition to the GREAT TRIZ EXPERT my friend Jack H.
Hi, Jack, I think you are on target regarding your thinking about potential for innovation and creativity training and facilitating in the Tampa Bay area. I can't seem to find your e-mail on here and have some other comments which I would prefer not to display on the public "wall". Are you willing to share your e-mail? If so, e-mail to browning@colled.msstate.edu Thanks, Donna
